Keenan Rice

Keenan Rice is the founder and president of MuniCap and has overseen the growth of the company from a single employee to its current 55 employees and national presence. Mr. Rice has worked in the area of public investment in real estate development for 35 years and has been involved in hundreds of real estate development projects with over thirteen billion dollars of public investment in these projects.

Mr. Rice has passed the Series 50 municipal advisor exam, the Series 54 municipal advisor principal exam, and the Series 65 investment advisor exam.

Prior to founding MuniCap, Mr. Rice was a principal of a leading public finance consulting firm located in California, a vice president and project manager of a major real estate developer (also in California), and a real estate development loan officer for a financial institution. Mr. Rice has an MBA with an emphasis in real estate and a BBA with a major in accounting.
